Chess enthusiasts,
Our annual Watertown Chess Club Invitational Tournament is OPEN to all players, both club and non-club members. It is a non-rated event and is NOT a USCF affiliated tournament. It is a free tournament. This event will include players of novice to intermediate levels.
The tournament will take place concurrently during the Club Championship Matches from November 25th to December 16th. It will be a Non-rated Swiss System pairing event at a time control of Game in 90 minutes with 30 second increment. That adds 30 seconds to the clock with each move that you make.
This event is an invitation to the club to enjoy a tournament setting without any normal tournament pressure ( other than your opponent). Recording of moves is optional.
Please join us for the fun. Please RSVP to 315-785-8800, Don Klug. Game time is 7:15PM, BUT you must be at our playing site by 7PM to be included. The door locks at 7PM, so a code is required to enter. I’ll share that with you on the phone.
