Prieto Clinches Top Seed for 2016 Club Championship with Fall Classic Win

Adolfo Prieto cruised through the Watertown Clubs Fall Classic Tournament with a score of 4-0 to clinch first place in the club standings and claim the number one seed in the 2016 Watertown Chess Club Championship. The position of the three remaining seeds remain undecided, although Robert Kratzat and Don Klug have qualified. The top four players in the clubs season long tournament standings will play two rounds of knockout matches to decide the 2016 Club Championship, scheduled for November 8th thru December 20th. Concurrent to the club championship matches will be the annual Invitational Championship. Local non- member chess players are invited to play in the 4 round event beginning November 22nd.
